Questions
Engraving your items, answered.
- Can I bring my own item to be laser engraved near Atlanta?
- Yes. We engrave tools, Bibles, knives, flasks, tumblers and leather goods you already own. We're in Mableton; the shop isn't open to visitors, so we meet at a convenient public spot in metro Atlanta, or you ship the items to us.
- How much does it cost to engrave my tools?
- Tools from $3 each, $35 minimum. The price per tool drops after the first ten, so marking a whole crew's kit at once is the best value.
- What can't you engrave?
- Anything made of PVC or vinyl, which gives off toxic gas on a laser, and items we can't hold flat and steady under the beam. Send a photo and we tell you before you hand anything over.
- What if you ruin my item?
- We test the settings on scrap of the same material, or on a spare you send, before marking yours, and you approve a proof first. If a one-of-a-kind item worries you, tell us and we talk it through before starting.
- How long does it take?
- Most orders are ready 3 - 5 business days after we have the items. Need them by a date? Tell us when you ask for the quote.
