Draft
Draft policy - under review, not yet legally binding. It describes how we intend to operate today. Contact us with any question about your order and we will answer it directly.
Every order is made after you place it. Nothing ships from stock, so the clock on your order starts with production, not with a warehouse pick.
If you sent a custom request rather than buying a listed product, we review it by hand and reply with a firm quote within 24 hours, usually sooner. Production only starts once you accept that quote.
Lead times by process
Typical production windows once your file is approved and payment has cleared, before transit. The confirmed date for your job is the one on your order confirmation.
- FDM
- 2 - 4 business days
- SLA
- 3 - 5 business days
- Laser (CO2)
- 2 - 4 business days
- Laser (fiber)
- 2 - 3 business days
Brackets, enclosures, jigs, small batches. Larger runs are quoted per job.
Includes the IPA wash and UV cure cycle every resin part goes through.
Wood, plywood, and acrylic. Sheet stock we do not hold adds ordering time.
Marking on metal, leather, and glass. Faster when you supply the blanks.
Multi-process jobs run to the longest window in the set. Large batch runs and jobs needing material we do not keep on hand are quoted with their own date before we start.
Local pickup
We are a local-first shop. Pickup is free, it skips transit entirely, and it is the fastest way to get a part. If you want to collect your order, say so when you order and we will email you when the job is off the machine, along with where and when to pick it up.
Shipping
Shipping is calculated at payment: the methods and rates available for your order are shown in checkout before you confirm. We send tracking when the package leaves the shop.
Transit time is on top of the production window above. We currently ship within the United States only. If you need a part somewhere else, or faster than the standard service, contact us before ordering and we will quote it.
Address accuracy is on you. If a package is returned to us because the address was wrong or undeliverable, we will re-ship it once you cover the return and re-ship postage.
Damage in transit
Parts are packed to survive normal handling, but couriers are couriers. If your package arrives crushed, opened, or with broken parts inside, photograph the outer box and the contents before you unpack anything further and reply to your order email within 7 days of delivery. We will remake and re-ship the damaged items at no charge and handle the carrier claim ourselves.
If tracking shows delivery and the package is not there, tell us and we will open a trace with the carrier.
Returns: custom and made-to-order work
We do not accept returns or exchanges on custom or made-to-order work. That covers everything we sell: parts printed or cut from your file, configured versions of our own designs, personalized engraving, and batch runs. A part built to your specification has no second buyer, and the material and machine time are spent the moment it starts.
A change of mind, a design that turned out not to fit your assembly, or a size you specified and later reconsidered are not grounds for a refund. Cancel before production starts and you get everything back - see our terms for that window.
Defects and our mistakes
If we got it wrong, we fix it. We remake and re-ship at no charge when a part does not match the file and options on your accepted order, when it misses the published tolerance for its process, when it arrives damaged, or when it fails from a manufacturing defect such as a delamination or an incomplete cure.
Tell us within 7 days of delivery or pickup, with photos. We may ask for the part back so we can see what went wrong; if we do, we pay the return postage. Where a remake is not what you want, we will refund instead.
The following are process characteristics, not defects, and are not covered: visible layer lines on FDM parts, light edge char and kerf taper on laser-cut wood, minor color variation between material batches, and support-contact marks on SLA parts. What each process actually holds is published on our materials page.
A part that is faithful to a file with a modeling error in it is not a defect. We will flag problems we notice before we build, but we do not audit customer geometry.
