Plates
Rectangle
A plain rectangle with optional rounded corners.
Mounting plate
A plate with a hole in each corner.
Bolt flange with centre hole
Corner bolt holes around a large centre cutout: motor mounts, pass-throughs, bearing plates.

A grid of round holes: vents, speaker grilles, drain plates.
Frame
A rectangle with a rectangular window: bezels, picture frames, gaskets.
Stepper motor mount
A plate with the bolt pattern and pilot hole for a NEMA 14, 17 or 23 stepper motor. Slots instead of holes let the motor slide to tension a belt.

A plate with a slot in each corner instead of a hole, so it can shift for adjustment before the bolts are tightened.

A right-triangle plate that stiffens a corner, with holes along both legs.

Slotted strap
A round-ended bar with a hole at one end and a long slot at the other: adjustable arms, tensioners, sliding stops.

Gears
Spur gear
An involute spur gear, 20 degree pressure angle, with a centre bore. Gears that mesh share the same tooth size (pitch diameter divided by teeth).
Gear pair
Two involute spur gears made to mesh, from the teeth on each and one tooth size. Shows the ratio and how far apart to set the axles.
Gear rack
A straight toothed bar that turns rotation into a straight line, with mounting holes and an optional matching pinion.
Planetary gear set
A sun gear, planets and a ring gear that mesh around each other, with a carrier for the planet pins. Big reductions in a small, flat package.
Roller chain sprocket
A sprocket for #25, #35 or #40 roller chain, with a centre bore. Cut to the standard tooth form so stock chain runs on it.
