What it's for

Jigs, templates, signs and models.

  • Jigs and fixtures

Assembly jigs, drill guides and nests that hold the part the same way every time.
  • Templates

Router, layout and trace templates cut straight from the drawing.
  • Signs and lettering

Shop signs, letters and panels ready to paint or finish.
  • Models and inserts

Architectural models, packaging inserts and fit-check mockups.

How it works

File to finished part without a single email.

  1. 01Upload

Drop a DXF or SVG, or build the part from a template. We read the geometry and flag anything that won't cut clean.
  2. 02Price

Pick the material, thickness and quantity. The price updates as you go.
  3. 03Cut

Your parts go on our laser in Atlanta. A person checks anything unusual first.
  4. 04Pick up

Free pickup in metro Atlanta, or we ship it. Next day when you choose rush.

The order minimum is $25. Rush moves any order to the next business day for +50%, priced before you pay.

Design notes

Draw it once, cut it right.

  • Parts up to 23.2 x 11.6 in, in either direction. Anything under 1/4 in across gets a look from a person before it's cut.
  • Leave at least 1/16 in (1.6 mm) of material between cuts. Thinner webs burn through or snap.
  • Every outline closed, text converted to outlines. A file can hold a whole set of parts.
  • Laser-cut wood edges come out dark brown. That's the cut itself, not a defect, and it sands back if you need a pale edge.
  • Need a part number or logo on it? Laser engraving is quoted by a person.

Questions

Good to know.

Which woods can I order?
Baltic birch plywood, MDF and hardboard. Each thickness is in the table above and on the instant quote.
Baltic birch or MDF?
Baltic birch is stronger and holds a screw better, so it suits jigs and fixtures. MDF is flat, even and cheaper, with no grain or voids, so it paints well and suits templates and signs.
Is there a minimum order?
The order minimum is $25. One part or a hundred, every quantity is priced before you pay.
Can I pick up instead of waiting on shipping?
Yes. Pickup is free in metro Atlanta, and rush orders are ready the next business day.
