The same rigid acrylic as our clear sheet, with the color mixed through the material rather than painted on, so a cut edge matches the face. Every color is .118 in thick (about 3 mm), the most common sheet for panels and signs.

Fit

When colored acrylic is the right call

Black and white cost about the same as clear. Red, blue, green and yellow sit in a higher price tier, and the table below shows exactly how much higher for the same part.

Care and handling

Looking after colored acrylic parts

  • Clean with mild soap, water and a soft cloth. Ammonia and alcohol cleaners can craze acrylic.
  • Scratches show more on dark, glossy colors. Keep any protective film on until installation.
  • Brittle like all acrylic: avoid tight press fits and give screws room.
